About Us

Thank you for showing interest in our School of Quality Learning. 

We are located in Katy, Texas. We are very proud to provide the most innovative facilities and effective educational programs for children 6 weeks through 12 years of age.

Kids `R` Kids is owned and operated by Paul and Patty Ahrens.  We opened our doors for business on December 12, 2004.  Paul spent over 30 years in the Electric Power Industry and has a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Houston and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.  After also working in the Electric Power Industry, Patty worked and then volunteered at one of the local school districts.  Paul and Patty have two grown sons, Steven and Michael.  One or more of the family members can be found at the center on most any day.

Our Center Director is Meredith Amason.  She has been with Kids `R` Kids since 2005 and has been the director since 2006.  Meredith is a graduate of the University of Houston and holds a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Our sincere love for children and strong belief that they should have a solid foundation, in combination with Kids `R` Kids, the absolute leader in its industry, make the perfect choice for your family`s childcare needs. Our center is approximately 15,000 square feet with 10 classroom suites, a cafeteria, a large activity gym for before and after school students, and 4 large play areas separated by age groups.

At Kids `R` Kids we share a common desire with parents, which is to provide the absolute best for the children. Our high quality teachers, creative and fun educational programs and of course our state of the art facility make us stand high above our competitors.
